Stay-Cation Experience at Century Park Hotel Manila

A couple of weeks before my birthday, I was clueless as Joanne asked me for a weekend reservation without giving any infos. Until such time that she was able to have that momentum sharing her planned overnight stay-cation with me as her gift (a surprised gift maybe instead hehe). I was stoked then ‘coz we’re a type of sweet couple whom very rich in outdoor moments. And this one is such a unique way. And so the dated reservation had come (a weekend before my special day), we toured the busy Manila road together with our pet ride, Bino, in the afternoon since we’re booked at around 2pm. We headed to our reserved hotel accommodation, Century Park Hotel Manila, along Ocampo street in the nearby Roxas Boulevard Disrict of Manila.

It was such a great birthday gift indeed. A unique indoor bonding experience with my special one, Joanne. Century Park hotel is very accessible to everyone. It is a five-star hotel located in the heart of Manila, along business, cultural and entertainment center of Roxas Boulevard across Ocampo street. Nearby landmarks are as follows; Harrison Plaza, Rizal Memorial Coliseum, SM Harrison and Orchid Garden Suites are among others. Just like any other hotels, it offers online promotion such as ensogo, metrodeal etc. And so, Joanne didn’t hesitate when she noticed the promo over the net but grabbed it.

The facade of the hotel building seems to be old as it was built in the 80’s. Even more in the inside yet preserved from the structure, furniture, to rooms and facilities. The staffs are very accommodating to your needs and turned-greeting whenever you meet them in every corners of the hotel. There are different resto bar in the hotel namely; Atrium Lounge, Palm Grove, Cafe in the Park and Century Tsukuji.

Atrium Lounge – it is where you can relax by having some coffee or having a snack while hotel’s string orchestra serenades you (opens daily 11am-1am).

Palm Grove – located along the pool amenity to cater the swimmers and other people around the area (opens daily 10am-6pm).

Cafe in the Park – a dining restaurant near the entrance side of the hotel. It is where they serve wide selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet for the hotel customers (opens daily 5:30am-1am).

Century Tsukuji – a dining restaurant for Japanese dishes lovers (opens 11:30am-2pm for lunch; 5:30pm-10pm for dinner).

We stayed there for an overnight, utilizing thieir amenities and services such as free parking, welcome drinks upon checked-in, pools (regular, jacuzzi and olympic size), breakfast buffet, music lounge and relaxing air-conditioned room equipped with wifi, and cable-TV with view of West Philippine Sea over the window. I had a blast on my pre-birthday celebration with this one of a kind indoor yet relaxing moment. It’s a unique experience with just only two of us ‘coz we’re an outdoor-attached persons. Thanks HK for the great gift! 🙂

The room looks really good, while the pool looks a bit “cold” as there are few loungers and little atmosphere (at least in that picture). INteresting to see that they open at 5.30 for breakfast, I’m not used to seing that. Do you think the hotel overall is worth the money?

Hi Moritz, yeah it’s all worth it. The place was not crowded which I actually prefer to spend during my relaxing time. A must try 🙂
